Day 26:

I haven't written much recently, but that doesn't mean that exciting things have not been happening! See, my Mom is the one who types this out for me, since my little paws are not great at typing and she has been a busy bee!
I'm so proud at myself for mastering the "sit" command. I am SUCH a smart girl! I'm getting very good at "five" and today we started to work on "down." We've been doing a lot of work on "come" and I like that one A LOT! I mean why wouldn't you? It always means I am getting love and treats! One thing I have been stubborn on is the potty training. I know I am going to get it, but I mean it's just so ridiculous. All these rules!
Ree and I are becoming really good friends. Mom took a picture of us cuddling today. See how cute we are? We are the same size, because I've been growing so much. Mom says one day I am going to be so much bigger than her. Do you think she will still cuddle with me then?
I love going to work with Mom. I get to play with these dogs of all sizes. I also get lots of cuddles and I get treats! Today I got a big bone. It was so fun to chew on. Om nom nom!

Day 20:

Today when we woke up, we went outside and it was cold, brrr brrr brr! We came back inside and warmed up but soon we went out again. Nella stayed at home and it was just me, Nanuq and Mom. I loved walking with Nanuq. Bouncing beside him, and he was smiling at me. I could tell he was proud of me! Finally we made it to the vet place. I saw the nice vet lady and she told me I had gained weight. I am now 5 pounds! I'm getting so big. Then they gave me an ouchy needle, but rewarded me with some yellow banana liquid. It was so good and my tail couldn't stop wagging. I just wanted to lick and lick the little syringe thingy. Then I guess because I was sooo good they gave me more treats! Huzzah!
Afterwards Mom rewarded us with a trip to the beach. Nanuq ran around and ran in the cold chilly water. I ran too, and played with Nanuq. I didn't like it when he ran at me from far away and I let out a few squeals. It was scary! He runs so fast.
Most of the afternoon we lazed around. It was nice, the ouchy thing had made me very sleepy. I really can't wait till tomorrow! We are going back to work, so I can play with dogs my size again!

Day 19:

I know I say this a lot, but today was the best day ever! The wind was very, very cold but Mom let me snuggle under her sweater. Occasionally I would peak out to see where we were or what that smell was but then I would remember the wind and hide again. I really don't like the wind!
At work I met my first friend! His name was Hershey, and boy did we get along well! We played and played and played. For hours and hours and hours. Occasionally we would take naps but then I would wake up, or Hershey would and then we were back to more playing!
When I got home I was so tired and just fell asleep for a long time. Then when I woke up we did some training. I'm really catching on to sit, and to "five". I like giving high fives, its so fun! Sitting is more difficult because I just want to jump around but Mom doesn't let me have my food or treats until I sit.
Later I played with Nanuq and that made me happy too! I love being a puppy.

Day 17:

The most EXCITING thing happened today!! It was early this morning and we were out for the morning walk and I ran up to Nanuq and he started to play with me! He actually was PLAYING with me! I was so so so so so happy. I couldn't stop wagging me tail and following him around.
Today Mom and I were fighting over potty training. I wouldn't go outside. I just wanted to play with the leaves, so after every trip outside it was back into the crate. This made me cry, I just wanted to play and snuggle. On the 7th trip outside I finally gave in and went potty. Then we came inside and immediately I ran to my corner and peed there. Mom was mad. I don't understand why I have to go outside. It's cold. I just want to go inside! Ugh!
Tonight it was very late and we went to this nearby playground. It is all fenced in and she let Nanuq run around. Then she dropped my leash and I ran and ran and ran. I chased Nanuq and grabbed his stick and we played! Then I found my own stick. Nanuq was laying down chewing his stick and I belly crawled over and then pounced on him. Oh what fun! I don't think I've ever had so much fun. Can we do that again tomorrow? Please?

Day 16:

Did I mention today how much I love life? I'm really starting to feel more comfortable. I like playing with the kitties, I like playing with Nanuq, I like playing with Mom and I like playing with my toys! The apartment is such a fun place to explore and there is so much room to run, run, run!
I think my favourite part of the day was the walk on the beach. Nanuq was running around and he came over and try to get me to chase him, but I was on the leash. I can't wait to be able to run with him on the beach! I found so many pebbles and they are all so neat. I got some burrs stuck in my fur but Mom took them out. Good, because they are quite ouchy!
I went with Mom to the store, and everyone wanted to pet me and say hello! I apparently am the cutest puppy people have ever seen! Don't I know it. Everyone tells me how cute I am, so it has to be true! Right?
I am so tired so I decided to just curl up with Nanuq and sleep. Zzzzzz!!

Day 14:

Today was a BIG day! I went to the vet this morning and they took out my stitches. In case you forgot, they were the ones in my tail. It hurt when they took out the stitches but I quickly made friends with the nice vet lady again when she gave me a yummy treat! Now I am so proud of my little half tail. I wiggle it and wag it all the time.
I love rocks. I guess technically they are pebbles. They're so tasty, and I can carry them easily in my mouth. The bad part is that Mom is always taking them out of my mouth. She is so mean sometimes.
Today I got to play with a bunch of dogs! I was at Mom's work and there were a bunch of dogs to play with. Little ones and big ones. They were all getting baths and haircuts, but not me. I just got to hang out and play and sleep.
Today was such a good day!!

Day 13:

You know what? The kitties are so much fun! I'm becoming really good friends with Ree. She lets me cuddle with her, and she lets me pounce on her tail as long as I don't bite it. If I do, she runs and so I bounce after her. I think that when I grow up that her and I are going to be good buddies. She likes me, and I like her. Tabitha won't let me pounce on her or I get a good cat smack to the face, but otherwise we're cool.
Tonight it started snowing! Little white specks in the sky. Mom says eventually it will stay on the ground, but I have no idea what that will be like.
We worked on sit, and I think I am getting it. Although then I get a little silly and want to run around. Learning things makes me so hyper! Except this whole potty training thing. That makes me mad. If I don't go potty outside, if I just want to play with the sticks and leaves then Mom puts me back in the crate and I would rather play with her, or my sisters or brothers or even just snuggle! URGH! If I wasn't having so much fun being a puppy I would wish that I was all grown up!
